WSOL Expands into New Data Center  

August 3, 2011 - WebSolutions Technology (WSOL), a leading Chicago-area based web development and hosting firm, announced the opening of its new data center.   Strategically positioned in the Midwest, this SAS70 Type II Compliant, Tier III+ data center is conveniently located within 30 minutes of downtown Chicago in the corporate community of Oak Brook, IL.

In order to meet the demands of a growing enterprise client base, the new data center includes features such as N+1 cooling and power infrastructure, redundant/blended networks, Ultra Sonic humidification, AC and DC power capability, and 24x7x365 on-site staffing. 

WSOL has entered into an agreement with collocation provider Latisys, which owns and operates the facility. At 86,000 square feet, Latysis operates one of the largest Tier III+ data centers in the Midwest. It has specifically been built to safeguard mission critical data and accommodate future growth and change.
