    Setting up or integrating a system so you can update and manage your site

    • You shouldn't be stuck with a website that requires you to rely on a web designer every time you want to update it. Most clients who are in the process of designing or redesigning a website opt to use a Content Management System. A content management system (CMS or WCMS) is a web-based tool used to create, edit and manage website content. Choosing to implement a CMS will reduce reliance on an outside web developer or internal IT staff by allowing you (the business user) to manage your own content. And by content, we mean everything on your site.

      Some examples of what you can do with a CMS include:

      • Create new pages and update existing ones using a WYSIWYG editor
      • Build and manage forms, polls and private member's only or social network functionality

    • Once the blueprint for the project is in place, the technical team takes over. This is where our programming engineers fit together all the components necessary to make the site operate as planned. This includes creating the interactive elements, building shopping carts, setting up databases and basically everything else that makes your site work!
